About the Project

What?

Constitutional convention or bust!

In 1787, the first Americans wrote a revolutionary check-and-balance into our Constitution that allows the States to update the blueprint for our federal government, and place additional limits with actual consequences on the Congress, President and Supreme Court.

It's never been tried before, but the "Article V Convention" is the only peaceful and legal way for We the People to stop the abuses of power by our public servants.

The America 2051 Project is dedicated to educate our fellow Americans about the genius of the Article V process, to gather and publish information about the 7,421 local representatives across the Fifty States, and to coordinate voters in demanding change!

Why?

Don't hate the players. Change the rules.

Our federal representatives are only playing by the rules of the game. The problem is that those rules were written for a different time, and a different type of politician. After 225 years, our leaders have learned to use the system for their advantage, so instead of blaming that human politician for overspending, why not blame the rulebook that allows it in the first place?

Washington DC will not fix itself, but, with the Article V Convention, We the People can update the blueprint for the Congress, President and Supreme Court, and finally restore the balance of power in favor of We the People!

How?

Vote local & fix Washington DC

The States created our federal government, and under Article V, the States can improve it from time to time...but only if we elect state representatives with vision who are committed to real and lasting change.

The key to this Project is your vote in state elections.
